Kyla & Joe met online and have been together for two and a half years. They started to plan for their wedding a year ago.
During our initial conversation on the phone, Kyla mentioned that she was interested in an outdoor ceremony. She also knew that she wanted to stop by the Green Bay Botanical Garden for pictures, which is one of the best places for wedding photography in Green Bay.
For me, coming from Milwaukee and not being familiar with all potential locations in the Green Bay area, I had to rely on my colleague’s recommendations for alternatives in case the weather was not cooperative. As always, I must make sure that we have fallback options for pictures.
The day started with preparing for pictures at the Hilton Garden Inn-Green Bay.
First Look took place at the lobby of the Hilton Gardens Inn, which is filled with plants, which were an excellent option for a First Look location.
The bride & groom, the bridal party, and close family members all commuted to the Green Bay Botanical Garden for the formal session pictures.
The ceremony and reception took place at The Marq. The place has beautiful landscaping with a wild-natured area that is left for couples who want pictures with the taste of an adventure.
The couples said “I Do” in an outdoor gorgeous surrounding at the Marq. They choose Joe’s childhood best friend as their officiant. The ceremony was intimate and emotional.
After the receiving line, I wanted to spend a few minutes for more outdoor pictures of the couples at the Marq.
Sunset Pictures are a must when you have such a beautiful sky.
The dancing floor had lovely participants of all ages.
